Important words from Academy Award nominee Angela Bassett

Image
These are great words from Academy Award nominee Angela Bassett. Angela was not born into an easy route to stardom. She grew up in Harlem. Her parents shipped her and her sister off to be raised by their social worker/civil servant mother when they were kids. She was bused around to different schools. This amazing role model ended up graduating from Yale University. She eventually started doing plays at the Yale Repertory Theatre, and the rest is history. Much respect to Angela Bassett. Angela most recently voiced the role of "Shatter" in the upcoming Paramount Pictures Transformers spinoff feature film "Bumblebee".
