Netflix open casting call for 'Mindhunter' season 2


Just a heads up to anyone within 90 minutes driving distance of Pittsburgh, PA that there will be an in-person open casting call for the Netflix series "Mindhunter" on Friday September 7th. The show is seeking people of all ages and any ethnicity to work as fully paid extras and featured background talent. Rolls being filled include FBI agents, students, law enforcement, protesters and hippies, families, and many many more. Thousands of extras will be cast for this second season. No prior experience is required, and meals are provided. Shooting will take place for the next three months. People should bring their friends and families who also want to be background actors. No headshot or resumes required, simply show up.

Starring in "Mindhunter" is Holt McCallany as Bill Tench, and Jonathan Groff as Holden Ford. Also starring is Cotter Smith as Shepard, Unit Chief of FBI National Training Academy; and Anna Torv as Wendy, a psychologist. "Mindhunter" is executive produced by Academy Award winner Charlize Theron and two-time Academy Award nominee David Fincher. Also executive producing is Jennifer Orme Erwin, who acquired the television rights to the novel. The show is based on the novel "Mind Hunter: Inside FBI’s Elite Serial Crime Unit" written by Mark Olshaker and John E. Douglas

Open Casting Call Details

The following in-person open casting call is for anyone within 90 minutes driving distance of Pittsburgh, PA. All ages and types are needed. No experience is required. Photos will be taken. Pay and meals are provided. This is for extras and featured background talent. Although shooting will take place in the Pittsburgh area, this open casting call is taking place south of Pittsburgh in Morgantown, West Virginia because of the close proximity to the city.

All talent are required to be legally eligible to work in Pittsburgh, PA and in the United States. "Mindhunter" Speaking Roles Auditions Information

Actors who are able to do Skype or self-made audition videos (from scripts provided by the casting directors) are welcome to sign up to be submitted for "Mindhunter". I would need your photos and general information such as contact information, age, height, weight, any special skills or activities, etc. After you send me your photos and information, I will create a submission package and will submit you for acting roles to my casting director contacts for "Mindhunter". Once the casting director contacts you, they will provide a script segment for you to create a self-made audition video. You will then email that video back to the casting director, and the process will continue with a live Skype audition. The fee for this service is a one-time $99 payment, and would include submissions for other television shows and major feature films also if you are interested.
