Open casting call now scheduled for the Walt Disney Company feature film 'Togo'

The Walt Disney Company is holding an open casting call on August 25, 2018 for the feature film "Togo". The movie is the story of the sled dog Togo. The film takes place in Alaska circa 1925 and tells the true story of Leonhard Seppala and his Siberian husky Togo, who led a dog-sled team across the wilderness to deliver serum to the village of Nome during a diphtheria outbreak.

"Togo" stars three-time Academy Award nominee Willem Dafoe as Leonhard Seppala. Daytime Emmy Awards nominee Ericson Core is directing from a screenplay written by Tom Flynn. The film is slated for Disney’s streaming service, which launches later this year.
