Warner Bros./DC Comics feature film 'Joker' auditioning new talent


The Warner Bros./DC Comics "Joker" feature film starring three-time Academy Award nominee Joaquin Phoenix is now setting up auditions for additional lead roles and supporting roles. Shooting will begin in September. Academy Award nominee Todd Phillips (director and writer of "The Hangover Trilogy") will helm the project from a screenplay that he wrote with Scott Silver. Phillips will also produce along with Academy Award winner Martin Scorsese. Academy Award winner Robert De Niro, Primetime Emmy Award nominee Zazie Beetz, and Golden Globe Award winner Frances Conroy have joined the cast.

Talent interested in being considered for lead and supporting roles in "Joker" can sign up to be submitted to the casting directors, and subsequently perform video and Skype auditions from any location. The fee for the submission service is a one time sign-up fee of $99. After your sign-up fee is received, you will then email in your photos (can be cell phone photos) and general information (contact information, age, height, weight, any special skills or activities, etc.) You will then be submitted to the casting team for "Joker". Once the casting director contacts you, they will provide a script segment for you to create a self-made audition video. Talent will then email that video back to the casting director, and the process will continue with a live Skype audition. This service also includes submissions for other major feature films for acting roles, for one full year. Talent from any location, and any level of experience are being accepted. Those selected to join the cast will receive pay, transportation, and accommodations to the filming locations. There are a limited number of openings for this service.
