Open casting call for 'Untitled Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle Sequel'
The Columbia Pictures upcoming feature film "Untitled Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle Sequel" has scheduled an in-person open casting call for principal actors and extras. Details are posted below. Shooting will take place in Kauai, Hawaii beginning in January, 2019. Starring in "Untitled Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle Sequel" is People's Choice Awards winner Dwayne Johnson, BAFTA Awards winner Karen Gillan, two-time Golden Globe Awards winner Jack Black, and Grammy Award winner Kevin Hart.
Golden Globe Award nominee Jake Kasdan will direct "Untitled Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle Sequel" from a screenplay written by Writers Guild of America WGA Award nominees Jeff Pinkner and Scott Rosenberg. Producers are Dwayne Johnson will produce along with Dany Garcia, Hiram Garcia, William Teitler, Matt Tolmach. Executive producers are Ted Field and Mike Weber. is scheduled to be released in theaters on December 13, 2019.

The following open casting call is open to Polynesian-looking boys who are "comfortable on set and confident, some too smart for their own good", Polynesian-looking men and women (men and women should appear 18-80 years old and Samoan language skills are helpful, but not necessary), specifically Polynesian-looking men "comfortable around machines, tools and have automotive and/or motorcycle skills for specialty roles", and African American-looking men between the heights of 6 feet 2 inches and 6 feet 4 inches who appear ages 30-50 years.
