Talent search for new 'Star Trek 4' lead actors


The Paramount Pictures feature film "Star Trek 4" is now re-casting the lead roles of Captain James Kirk and his father George Kirk, in a time-traveling adventure. Chris Pine and Chris Hemsworth were scheduled to portray those roles, however due to a dispute in contract negotiations, both actors have exited the project. Additional lead and supporting roles are being cast, both male and female. S.J. Clarkson will direct "Star Trek 4" from an original screenplay written by J.D. Payne and Patrick McKay. Producers are J.J. Abrams, Bryan Burk, and Alex Kurtzman. David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, Tommy Harper, and Lindsey Weber are serving as executive producers.

Talent interested in being considered to be cast in "Star Trek 4" can sign up to be submitted to the casting directors, and subsequently perform video and Skype auditions from any location. The fee for the submission service is a one time sign-up fee of $99. After your sign-up fee is received, you will then email in your photos (can be cell phone photos) and general information (contact information, age, height, weight, any special skills or activities, etc.) You will then be submitted to the casting team for "Star Trek 4".

Once the casting directors contact you, they will provide a script segment for you to create a self-made audition video. Talent will then email that video back to the casting director, and the process will continue with a live Skype audition. This service also includes submissions for other major feature films for acting roles, for one full year. Talent from any location, and any level of experience are being accepted. Those selected to join the cast will receive pay, transportation, and accommodations to the filming locations. There are a limited number of openings for this service.
