'China Rich Girlfriend' (Crazy Rich Asians 2) now casting new lead roles


The Warner Bros. feature "China Rich Girlfriend", the sequel to the hit comedy-romance feature film "Crazy Rich Asians", is casting several new male and female lead roles. These are for Asian adults, with age ranges from early 20's through 40's. There are is also a supporting role for a Caucasian female between 25-30. The film is based on Kevin Kwan's novel, and takes place two years after the events of "Crazy Rich Asians". Jon M. Chu is returning to direct "China Rich Girlfriend" from an adapted screenplay written by Peter Chiarelli and Adele Lim. Producers are Nina Jacobson, Brad Simpson, and John Penotti.

Any talent who are able to perform a self-made video audition, and subsequent live-Skype audition with the casting director for "China Rich Girlfriend", can sign up to be considered. This is open for actors in any location. The fee to sign up for the video auditions is a one-time payment of $99, which also will include 1 year of submissions for additional roles to various major studio feature films. After your sign-up fee is received, you will be given an email address to send in your photos and information (or headshot and resume if available). A submission package will then be created, and you will be presented to the casting director for "China Rich Girlfriend". When the casting office contacts you, they will provide the material for you to create a self-made audition video. If selected, the process will continue with a live Skype audition.
