Talent search underway for the role of ARIEL in the Walt Disney Pictures live-action film 'The Little Mermaid'


The Walt Disney Pictures CGI and live-action feature film adaptation of "The Little Mermaid" is now auditioning for the lead role of ARIEL. The lead role of PRINCE ERIC is also being cast. Academy Award nominee Rob Marshall ("Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides", "Mary Poppins Returns") will direct "The Little Mermaid" from an adapted screenplay written by Saturn Award nominee Jane Goldman, based on characters by Hans Christian Andersen. Producers are Academy Award nominees Lin-Manuel Miranda and Marc Platt. Music is being composed by eight-time Academy Award winner Alan Menken and Lin-Manuel Miranda. Academy Award winner Dion Beebe will serve as director of photography. Talent individuals of any level of experience can sign up to participate in the auditioning process.

"The Little Mermaid" Actor Submission Information

Actors who are able to do Skype or self-made audition videos (from scripts provided by the casting director) are welcome to sign up to be submitted to audition for "The Little Mermaid". I would need your photos and general information such as contact information, age, height, weight, any special skills or activities, etc. After you send me your photos and information, I will create a submission package and will submit you for acting roles to my casting director contact for "The Little Mermaid". Once the casting director contacts you, they will provide a script segment for you to create a self-made audition video. You will then email that video back to the casting director, and the process will continue with a live Skype audition. The fee for this service is a one-time $99 payment.
